Parking
There is a 24-hour parking facility in the hotel grounds. Private bus parking is also available in the hotel grounds.
For on-site parking, a fee of 550 CZK daily or 50 CZK per hour applies.
For bus parking, a fee of 800 CZK daily or 100 CZK per hour applies.
Payment
The hotel accepts the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express and Diners Club, Maestro and VISA Electron with chip and PIN verification. The Czech Republic’s currency is the Czech Crown (CZK). Payment is accepted in cash at the hotel reception in CZK, USD, GBP, and EUR, or in CZK by credit card. In case of cash payment in a foreign currency, the change is given back in local currency only. For currency conversion, the exchange rate submitted by the Czech National Bank increased by 2% is applied. Please note that a security deposit of 1 400 CZK / € 50 is requested upon arrival to cover any incidental services and charges to your room. This deposit can be guaranteed either in the form of a cash deposit or by pre-authorisation on your credit card. Please note that a cash security deposit is refundable upon check-out.
Credit card pre-authorisations are released by the hotel on the date of your departure. Please contact your bank if pre-authorisation cancellation doesn’t appear in your available balance. A Cash Exchange Machine is available in the hotel lobby for foreign currency exchange.
Pets
A small dog up to 10 kg will be admitted, 40 Euro fee for cleaning of the room will be charged after departure. Pets are not allowed to enter Mezzo restaurant, PAN83 Bar & Restaurant and our wellness and fitness centre. All pets must be kept on a leash in public areas.
Safety & Security
All room types featured on the Panorama Hotel Prague website are fitted with double locks, door security peepholes, electronic key-card locks, fire resistant doors and walls, sprinklers, smoke detectors and safety deposit boxes. Fire emergency evacuation drills take place on a regular basis, in co-operation with the public emergency services.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted at any point in the hotel buildings, this includes both bedrooms and common areas. A room recovery fee of €150 will be charged if smoking takes place.
Water
Tap water in the hotel is safe to drink. Bottled water is available in each room for a nominal fee from the mini bar.
Weather
Prague has a temperate continental climate. The seasons are usually well defined, with July and August the hottest months (28-30° C, 82-86° F) and December and January the coldest, when temperatures may fall to -15°C or 5°F. See the latest weather forecat
Time
The Czech Republic is located in the GMT 1 (CET) time zone and uses different winter and summer times. In the last Sunday of March, the clocks will move one hour ahead GMT (CEST). Summer time lasts until the last Sunday of October when the clocks go back one hour again (CET) to winter time. Calculate the time difference between your home city and Prague.
Visa
Citizens of the EU are permitted to stay in the Czech Republic for an unlimited period. US and Canadian citizens can stay visa-free for up to 90 days. Citizens of most other countries require a visa to enter the Czech Republic. Current visa requirements can be obtained from your nearest Czech Republic embassy.
Voltage & Plugs
Voltage in the Czech Republic is 220 volts, and plugs are of the two-pin continental type. The hotel has an ample stock of adaptors and converters for guest use. Please enquire at the concierge or reception.
