The hotel accepts the following credit-cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club. Maestro, VISA Electron and MasterCard Electron are accepted in connection with a personal identification number (PIN).
The Czech Republic's currency is the Czech Crown (CZK). Payment is accepted in cash at the hotel reception in CZK and EUR, or in CZK by credit card. The exchange rate used will be advised by the Czech National Bank on the day of arrival. Change is given in local currency only (CZK).
For those guests that prefer to pay cash a €50 deposit will be asked for on check in.
For currency conversion, the exchange rate submitted by the Czech National Bank increased by 2% shall be applied.
A new Money Exchange Machine is also available on the hotel permises.
Small dogs are permitted with prior permission of the General Manager, a room recovery fee of €50.00 will be charged at the end of the stay. Pets are not allowed entry in the Mezzo restaurant, Panorama Café or our wellness and fitness centre, Top Deck. Pet must be kept on a leash in public areas.
Safety & Security
All room types featured on the Panorama Hotel Prague website are fitted with double locks, door security peepholes, electronic key-card locks, fire resistant doors and walls, sprinklers, smoke detectors and safety deposit boxes. Fire emergency evacuation drills take place on a regular basis, in cooperation with the public emergency services.
Smoking is not permitted at any point in the hotel buildings. This includes room and common areas. A room recovery fee of €100 will be charged for guests that smoke in the rooms.
Tap water in the hotel is safe to drink. Bottled water is available in each room for a nominal fee from the mini bar.
Prague has a temperate continental climate. The seasons are usually well defined, with July and August the hottest months (28-30° C, 82-86° F) and December and January the coldest, when temperatures may fall to -15°C or 5°F. The Czech Republic is located in the GMT 1 (CET) time zone and uses different winter and summer times. In the last Sunday of March, the clocks will move one hour ahead GMT (CEST). Citizens of the EU are permitted to stay in the Czech Republic for an unlimited period. U.S. and Canadian citizens can stay visa-free for up to 90 days. Voltage & Plugs
Voltage in the Czech Republic is 220 volts, and plugs are of the two-pin continental type. The hotel has an ample stock of adaptors and converters for guest use. Please enquire at the concierge or reception.
